After earning an engineering degree, Sanon started as a fashion model and began her acting career in the 2014 films 1: Nenokkadine and Heropanti. She won Best Female Debut for Heropanti. Sanon gained fame with films like Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Luka Chuppi (2019), Dilwale (2015), and Housefull 4 (2019).
She won Best Actress for her role in Mimi (2021). Despite some unsuccessful films like Adipurush (2023), she had hits with Bhediya (2022) and Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya (2024). Sanon also owns a clothing brand, a fitness company, a skincare line, and a production house.
